Professional Bio
Tracey Hanigan graduated as a Speech Pathologist from Flinders University of South Australia in 1995. Tracey has had over 25 years’ experience working with children and adults who experience a communication disability. She is passionate about improving the communication access, opportunities, and skills of children with communication challenges and their communication partners. She enjoys working with families, health, and educational teams to improve the processes and practices within schools and health settings regarding Alternative and Augmentative Communication. Tracey currently works at Southern Support School, a Special School in Hobart, Tasmania and in the Tasmanian Paediatric Rehabilitation Team at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
