The Adelaide Convention Centre is close to the conference hotels.  The Intercontinental is the closest hotel to the Convention Centre (approx. 350m).  
  
Adelaide Convention Centre is an accessible venue to all visitors. They offer lift and escalator access to all three levels, including entry from North Terrace and the Adelaide Riverbank Promenade.   

PARKING

There are two car parks at the Convention Centre:   
 
  1. The Riverbank Car Park is located directly under the Convention Centre and offers 400 car spaces with a height clearance of 1.95 metres. It can be accessed from Morphett Street and Montefiore Road Bridge via Festival Drive
  2. The North Terrace Car Park offers 300 undercover car spaces and direct lift access to the Convention Centre’s main entrance. The height clearance is 2.0 metres.   It can be accessed from North Terrace.  
 
 
Accessible car parking spaces are located on each level of the Centre’s North Terrace and Riverbank car parks and are close to the car park lifts.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT WITH ADELAIDE METRO

Adelaide Convention Centre is accessible using public transport. 
 
The public bus from the airport (J10) stops approximately 3 blocks from the Convention Centre. 
 
The Adelaide Metro website provides information about trains, trams and buses and includes a journey planner.   
 
Adelaide Metro fares are the same on buses, trains and trams. Each fare allows a travel period of two hours for any distance travelled. 
 
You can pay with a rechargeable metroCARD, Adelaide Metro tap and pay, or the Adelaide Metro Buy & Go app
 
The Adelaide Metro Visitor Pass includes unlimited travel for three consecutive days as well as a visitor pack with maps and travel guides.  
 
Train 
The Adelaide Railway Station is very close to the Convention Centre (approx. 250m).  
 

Tram  
The tram is free within the city centre. 
 
The closest tram stop to the Convention Centre being in front of the Adelaide Railway Station. 
 
Outside the city centre fees apply. 
 
The main line for the tram is on King William Street, with extensions along North Terrace.  
 

Buses  
Buses run along North Terrace. Use the Adelaide Metro journey planner to find the best  route from your accommodation.  

ACCESS TAXIS

During school drop-off and pick-up times, there may be a long wait for accessible taxis. We would suggest that you book in advance.

Delegates can be dropped off on North Terrace and take the elevator up to the Plaza.
