Visiting Adelaide

Visiting Adelaide during the Fringe Festival is an exciting time! The Adelaide Fringe is one of the biggest arts festivals in the world, held every year in February and March. The city is full of shows like live music, comedy, theatre, and street performances. You can watch amazing artists from all over the world, and there are fun events happening everywhere—from parks and streets to theatres and pop-up venues.

Adelaide is a very accessible city with lots of fun things to do for everyone. There are many things to see in Adelaide. You can visit the Adelaide Zoo, home to giant pandas, or explore the beautiful Botanic Gardens. Take a walk along the River Torrens or visit the famous Adelaide Central Market for fresh food and local treats. You can also visit the Art Gallery of South Australia or relax at one of the many beaches nearby, like Glenelg Beach. Adelaide is a friendly city with lots to do and see, making it the perfect place to visit during the Fringe Festival!

Exploring Adelaide and Beyond

There are many great things to see not only in Adelaide but also in the nearby areas. Just a short drive from the city, you will find accessible and beautiful places to explore.

The Adelaide Hills are only 30 minutes away and are full of nature, walking trails, and charming towns like Hahndorf, Australia’s oldest German village. You can visit local wineries, cafes, and shops. If you love wine, the Barossa Valley is only about an hour from Adelaide. It’s famous for its world-class wineries, delicious food, and beautiful vineyards.

If you enjoy beaches, visit the Fleurieu Peninsula, about an hour’s drive from Adelaide. You can relax at stunning beaches like Victor Harbor, or take the ferry to Kangaroo Island. Kangaroo Island is a nature lover’s paradise, with wildlife, beautiful landscapes, and amazing beaches to explore. There’s so much to see beyond Adelaide, and it’s all within easy reach!
