Since graduating in 2006 Tammie has worked in the Northern Territory, at the hospitals in both Darwin and Alice Springs. She then moved into Disability Services Queensland as well as Queensland Health across both hospital and community health in Mackay. She has worked as the Speech Pathology Team Lead at Move and Play Paediatric Therapy in Mackay since 2020.
