Maria Hill is a speech pathologist who has been providing fly-in-fly-out speech pathology services for NDIS participants in various Indigenous communities in Cape York and the Torres Strait. Maria is devoted to closing the gap in access to speech pathology services in rural and remote regions in Queensland. With a special interest in complex communication and access to augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), in rural and remote Indigenous communities Maria works with a variety of NDIS participants across the lifespan to improve access to AAC assessment, device trials, prescription, and ongoing implementation support for individuals in remote indigenous communities.
