Kylie is a parent of a multimodal AAC user, who has used a formal communication system for 7 years. Kylie is acutely aware of barriers and the benefits of AAC in both its paper based and electronic forms. Kylie is a big believer in AAC creating meaningful communication as a communication partner. As an active member in the AAC community, Kylie has presented in several national and international AAC conferences on the importance of therapist - parent relationship’s and getting it right.
