Jenny Barnes is a parent of a young AAC user. She is committed to learning and sharing skills and knowledge about her family’s AAC journey. With a professional background in teaching English as an additional language and as a playworker with young people and recently completing post graduate studies in disability and inclusion, Jenny has experienced a wide range of perspectives in communication and language acquisition. She is deeply excited by AAC and building the capacities of communities in becoming better communication partners and improving communication access in schools.
