Professional Bio
Dr Emma Grace is a researcher and senior lecturer in inclusive and specialised education, in the college of education, psychology and social work at Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia. She is a member of the Caring Future Institute and Research in Inclusive and Specialised Education (RISE) initiative. She is a qualified SLP and her research works across speech pathology, disability and education. Her PhD focused on the effects of peer e-mentoring on participation in online conversations for adolescents with complex communication needs. This research was supported by a NHMRC Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship and was awarded 3rd prize world-wide in the Pursuit Award (PhD students improving the lives of kids with disabilities).
