Debbie Lobb
Curtin University / Microboards Australia
Professional Bio
Debbie is a speech pathologist by background having been privileged to partner with people with disability and their families for 30 years. Since the early 2000’s Debbie’s learning and passion delved into supporting people who find life hard and have regulation support needs. Since then, Debbie has held leadership and teaching roles in both government and not for profit disability organisations to influence understanding of people’s needs and support service design to improve people’s wellbeing and quality of life. Some call this behaviour support. We call it wellbeing support based on neuroscience, human rights and neuroaffirming practice. Debbie is currently Director of Professional Supports at Microboard’s Australia and course developer and lecturer at Curtin University for the Graduate Certificate: Positive Behaviour Support and the Graduate Certificate: Complex Communication Needs.
