Professional Bio
My name is Ben Keely. I live in Perth, WA. I have a profound disability - spastic quadriplegia and I’m a diverse communicator. I recently got a Grid Pad which I can now use to help me communicate with my friends and family and gives me access to online communities. I obtained a degree in Behavioral Science from The University of Notre Dame. I have worked in various areas of disability and capacity building with a clear focus in communication and building the skills of diverse communicators and their teams. I’ve been involved in numerous disability related projects throughout my life and on one occasion was lucky enough to be published in the AGOSCI ‘In Focus Magazine’. I have a passion to be a practitioner in communication support, as a disability advocate and educator.
