Elissa is a speech pathologist who loves all things AAC and is driven by supporting AAC communicators to communicate independently and confidently. She currently works full-time as an AAC consultant at Liberator for NSW/ACT and previously worked as a speech pathologist for Cerebral Palsy Alliance. Elissa has worked with individuals with complex disabilities of all ages, using a range of direct and indirect AAC access methods, in schools, day programs and in the community.
